I'm all about those robot vacuum cleaners, even though they're a bit of a splurge.  At least my floors will be devoid of pet fur and I count that as a  win.

How much does the robot vacuum cleaner cost? I tried to check for it online, in vain. Its main advantage (in my view) is that it is easy to use and cleans effectively, except that it can also be noisy.

I agree that Apple continues to dominate the smartwatch platform, and Samsung offering direct competition is in the best interest of the end-users. I wish Apple introduces size variations/options in its next update.

I like the fact that they have made it thinner and lighter than the previous wearable (Galaxy Watch Active). Nonetheless, it would have been better for the company to retain the rotating bezel found on earlier Samsung smartwatches.

I see many interesting items on the list. I definitely wouldn't think about bringing an espresso machine or a portable TV in my car! I guess they are made for the trips that will keep you from a comfortable house for a while.

You want to travel and still have fun while at it so I see a lot of devices in this collection that I will make use of in my next road trip. I like the Bose SoundLink Micro despite the 6-hour battery life.

That's pretty incredible and from the photographs in the article, those watches don't look damaged at all.  As a matter of fact, they're in good shape which is just unimaginable.

In other words, if you commit a crime while wearing an Apple Watch, you can't get rid of the GPS evidence by throwing it into a body of water.  Got it.  I guess I watch too much CSI.

I never thought of that, but you're right.  From the article it sounds like it was officers who were recovering the watches.  It's amazing that an Apple Watch can survive that long in adverse conditions.

I don't use a VPN very often, mostly just when I'm using a public Wi-Fi hotspot.  In my experience, using a VPN significantly slows down my internet speeds.  It's just not worth it to me.

You spoke my mind because, from experience, a VPN slows down internet speeds. I don't think there's as much we can do to prevent third-parties from accessing personal data. It always seems like selling personal data is a lucrative business.

@Silentcrescendo I gifted the infant changing pad/scale combo to my sister and she really likes it.  It's easy to work and it's very helpful.  That's a nice little collection that @Baloyi5 made.

So a smart water bottle actually tracks your water intake and is synced to a hydration tracker app (how lovely!). I agree that most of these gadgets could be little known but very useful.

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for what about the devices that work with Siri?  They've been around for some time.  Would it be premature to add the latest Petcube toys which work with Alexa?  Would that count as home robotics?

I guess I can see those three products meeting the listed requirements.  They do something functional, are backed by big brands, and are likely to stick around, especially Siri.  I suppose you've convinced me. Thanks for the help!

I absolutely love both of these and so do my two dogs.  Of course, virtual play isn't the same as being there in person, but both of these smart dog toys are great when I'm in a pinch.  I like being able to check on my dogs anytime I'd like to.

I need to get these.  My dogs would love the treat dispenser and my cats would love the laser toy.  I'm glad they've added Alexa since I'm already tied to Amazon's ecosystem throughout my home.
