3D Printing

Looks like there are more people trying 3D printers now. I believe it‘s a fun idea. I wasn‘t expecting 3D printer to become that popular when it was introduced.

I think 3D printers are extremely cool, but I don't know when I'd actually need one.  I'm not much of a maker or creator I guess.  I'm digging the letter opener.  Am the only one who gets paper cuts just from opening the mail sometimes?

You literally spoke my mind but on the other hand, I see how useful this gadget could be for a creator. So much is happening in the technological space and you can now find a digital solution to almost anything.

Indeed. I'm always thinking if people from the previous centuries came back to life, what kind of reactions they would have if they know most of the tasks that they had to do manually are now mostly replaced by technology.

I agree. Emails can do almost everything. But I do see some letter openers in offices. Probably they are not for personal use. They should be more useful in an office instead.

It may not be useful for us, but it may be needed by secretaries in large offices, like what Ketchup said. In reality, we receive snail mails every month in the form of bills, so the letter opener may be useful if we receive a lot of bills.

Both of you got a good point. I was thinking about letters as personal letters and not about the monthly bills or the business letters for office workers.

I wonder how well evaporative air conditioners work.  I've thought about getting one myself.  I'm into the BioLite Firepit and am adding it to my wish list.  I believe it was on Kickstarter at one point.

Those evaporative coolers do a decent job with one caveat - you  can't live in a humid environment.  So it works with the dry heat you'd find in Texas, but it won't work with the humid heat you'd find in Georgia.

Too Expensive For A Pre-Order

I would rather wait for the release of this gaming device because we cannot really predict the quality of electronic products these days. I do hope the PS5 will be much more powerful than its predecessors, with the price tag that it has.

Yeah, I'm with you, that hefty price is just a CYA measure and wasn't set by Sony.  They've priced devices expensively before and they didn't sell well at all.  I think the new PlayStation won't come cheap, but it won't cost a grand either.

What I would like to know more is the advantages for those people who pre-ordered PS5, besides the stress of worrying whether there will be stock when it is finally released. I wonder what new innovations are on this device.

Pixel 4 Offers Face and Movement Recognition

Google's Pixel 4 now looks like the child of Samsung and Apple's crossover, and I low-key like it. I just don't think that the Face ID should be the key to confirm transactions or any other sensitive deals because it's easy to get it wrong.

I don't like the facial features due to security reasons, but I have to admit that they're pretty cool.  It's amazing how far technology has come and continues to advance.

Great sound system

This set looks amazing. I remember stumbling upon the LG OLED65B7A model on Amazon and everything about its specs caught my eye. The OLED pixels play a great part in achieving an ultimate contrast and an outstanding picture quality.

I will wait and see if the problem is really fixed. If it is really like what they said, that the problem of screen breaking is solved, then I will change my mind on it I guess.

It would be great if they can fix all of the issues, though I feel like this won't be the last time. Software issue is relatively easier to handle than hardware errors, so I'd still wait before getting this kind of phone.
