I'm sure it will be popular.  I haven't seen it in person, but in photos it looks cheaply done.  I wonder how durable this version of the Switch is?

I love the new design personally.  At this smaller size the battery will last much longer and  it will be super easy to carry around, giving the device true portability.

I have that same smart lock that uses your fingerprint to grant entry and it works amazingly well. I'm the type that loses keys too easily so this was a a big help.

That Wacaco Minipresso looks amazing.  I'm another coffee lover who can't go a day without it.  I even pack coffee for trekking and camping.  A device this size looks handy.  I'll be getting one of these so thanks for the idea @Pete205!

We all got used to the phrase 'necessity is the mother of invention' and it definitely makes sense in this context. My best choice would be the Vanity Mirror. Are there a few more items that you are hoping to add soon?

The vanity mirror would be nice but I guess I want the smart space heater the most. The collection is very thoughtful, there are a lot of useful items in the collection.

You Need an Upgrade

Well, it is true that an #upgrade is inevitable, especially considering the pace at which @tech evolves. I think that it may be expensive to advance at a go, rather than doing so systematically..#technologyrevolution.

I'm not certain, but from looking at the collection I think it's more about adding nice stuff here and there.  Personally, I'm not buying a watch that  pricey unless it's a Rolex.

About the robots

I used to have a robot and it was fun to play with. But yeah I guess in the future, AI will become a thing and they are something more than just robots. I'm not quite sure if AI in the future will be good for us or not as they will be able to replace us in the job market.

The Rise of The Robots

It won't be too long before robots become humanlike. Alexa and Google interfaces can be used as AI for robots. The robots might respond slowly, but they will soon become faster and smoother as technology advances.

It really is odd that robots didn't take off like most folks thought.  I guess they were just too expensive for what wound up being a toy rather than a tool.

I just wish robots in the future will not cause harm to our society. Robots are good if you create them with the sole purpose of helping us, human beings or just for entertainment. But excessive inventions might not be a good idea.

I would say that it depends on the purpose. Human inventions always have unintended side effects. These robots can help us or can destroy us depending on the purpose of why it was made.

I agree. Hopefully people won't be easily blinded by money or the short-term benefits when they develop new technology or invent new products. Maybe I'm just a bit pessimistic when it comes to this.

I would say that your reaction is based on reality. Even robots that will be made for good use can be turned against us when hackers would change their codes. I hope we won't have to experience the Terminator setting.

It has caught my attention indeed. The price isn't actually that expensive in my opinion. But since the one I own is also not bad for communication, I might not consider buying this now.

I agree, especially when compared to other gaming headsets.  Razer's latest headset came under that amount, but there were trade-offs there too.

I like the battery life here.  However, the last set I owned by Logitech didn't last long before it shorted out.  It was probably my own fault, but they did seem more delicate than other brands.

I wonder if this small laptop can handle all the processes when all the ports are plugged. I wish there were 2 USB-C ports as new gadgets now have USB-C sockets.

It looks like a nice laptop, but having tons of ports is more of a gimmick than anything else.  Adapters are a dime a dozen and often come with the device or cord anyway.

Which is your smart speaker of choice?

A few years ago, smart gadgets weren't as popular but now they are the order of the day. If I had the money, I'd go for the Apple HomePod because it is Siri-enabled. My second-best choice is the Amazon Echo Dot.

I like the Amazon Echo because Alexa is compatible with the most devices and it's priced well.  I'm not too worried about Amazon making them obsolete either, since they are popular.

I have the Sonos, Echo, and  several Dots spread throughout the house.  Alexa works with them all and I had no problems setting them up.  I think my Sonos smart speaker sounds the best of the lot.

I think that this is something we'd love to have considering the number of road trips we normally have in a year. Whereas this may not be for everyone, any person that cherishes music will see its importance.

I guess so. It's just that I don't usually like holding a mic when I sing. Singing can still be very fun without a mic. But as what you said, I guess different people have different ways to enjoy music!

I'm not much of a singer but it sure looks like a great way to make things more fun.  Just imagine the years of blackmail you could get out of videoing a sibling belting out show tunes while on the road.
