Which is your Antivirus software of choice?

I use a Windows laptop and I have always believed that Windows Defender provides sufficient protection. From experience, the word 'free' is often used as a marketing gimmick. To get the full benefits of any antivirus software, some amount has to be paid. Has anyone else had the same experience?

I'm using  Bitdefender Total Security and I don't recommend it.  It seems to do a good job of stopping malware, but when it updates, it usually forces users to restart their computer.  It gets old.

I haven't heard of the Bitdefender but if at all you are paying for this, it must be providing some security. Most software updates normally force a user to restart the computer but I often choose the option of restarting at a latter time.

I haven't used free antivirus software in a long time.  I always figured that  paid software would perform better.  I'm currently using Kaspersky and I think it gets the job done.

McAfee used to be my antivirus software of choice but it is quite bulky as compared to the rest. Is there any difference in using the Kaspersky Internet Security? Is it any different from the antivirus?

More Facebook privacy concerns.

Not much time can pass before yet another privacy violation from Facebook is uncovered. If it continues on this path, I think Facebook may really be at risk of losing a good portion of their users.

We've become so used to privacy problems with big tech that it doesn't even matter anymore.  We're just too jaded, myself included. I would be more shocked if they started caring about privacy.

Other than the pop-up selfie camera, this phone seems just like every other model that's coming out.  It'll be interesting to see if those features are enough to woo consumers.

People are still really into taking photos of themselves to share on Instagram and Facebook.  I suspect this will be a huge selling point with many social media users.

The pop-up selfie camera seems prone to damage. Imagine what would happen if you had it out and then you dropped your phone. It's inevitably going to get damaged.

Both of these Chromebooks seem great, but I don't think these will be  widely adopted as most businesses still use Microsoft computers.  It's tough to make people  change, even if it saves them money.

That list brought up a lot of great memories.  Remember the Titans is an incredible film.  Denzel Washington truly brings his character to life and the viewer can feel his inner turmoil.
