Are the new iPads really all that "new"?

This article brings up some valid points. The new iPads sounds like rehashed old models with a new number. Apple is getting lazy. Perhaps it's because they've been experience lagging sales and don't want to put the time and money into creating something entirely new?

I would love to hear what Apple has to say about these rumours but either way, doesn't this company run the risk of reputation? It would be better for a potential buyer to know (from the onset) that they were purchasing a used device.
