Online contests
For the avoidance of doubt, these Terms and Conditions are an integral part of the Member Terms and Conditions ("Member Conditions") and the Website Terms And Conditions ("Website Conditions"), which should all be read as a whole.
In the event of any conflict, inconsistency or ambiguity between these Terms and Conditions, the Member Conditions and/or the Website Conditions, the following descending order of precedence will apply: (i) these Terms and Conditions,
(ii) the Member Conditions, (iii) the Website Conditions.
1. Definitions
1.1 All defined terms in the Website Conditions and Member Conditions apply to the terms and conditions below unless specifically defined.
2. Contests & Lucky Draws
2.1 The following provisions apply if you are entering a contest or lucky draw (“Contest”):
2.1.1 The Contest shall only be valid during the period set out in the online or hardcopy Contest form.
2.1.2 For the avoidance of doubt, your entry and all its contents shall constitute User Content submitted by you and be subject to the Member Conditions concerning User Content including Clauses 5 and 6 therein.
2.1.3 All details and particulars submitted must be true, accurate and complete. Any incorrect or incomplete information found in the entry will result in the disqualification of the entry.
2.1.4 SCOOGET reserves the right at any time in its absolute discretion to:
(i) cancel or modify the Contest; or
(ii) substitute, withdraw or cancel any prize without prior notice and without having to disclose any reason therefore and without any payment or compensation whatsoever.
2.1.5 SCOOGET reserves the right not to award any prize, or to award one or more but not all of the prizes.
2.1.6 The decision of SCOOGET shall be final, conclusive and binding on all participants and winners, and no correspondence will be entertained.
2.1.7 Prizes not claimed will be forfeited and disposed of by SCOOGET in its sole and absolute discretion. Results of the Contest may be posted on the Site or otherwise as determined by SCOOGET.
2.1.8 By agreeing to participate in the contest or lucky draw, you hereby agree and consent to SCOOGET, its authorised service providers and its
advertising and promotion agencies collecting, using and/or disclosing your personal data including your name, picture, image and voice for purposes indicated in the Privacy Policy
and for SCOOGET’s publicity and/or advertising campaigns connected to the contest or lucky draw. Such use and disclosure will be without payment or compensation. If you become a winner of the contest or lucky draw,
you hereby agree and consent to, SCOOGET and its authorised service providers collecting, using, disclosing and/or processing your personal data including your image, photographs, voice recording and/or partial
NRIC number for the purpose indicated in the Privacy Policy, and further agree that such setup, use, disclosure and/or processing will be without payment or compensation. All winners may be required to attend a prize presentation ceremony.
2.1.9 The Contest shall be subject to further terms and conditions on the online or hardcopy Contest form. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions
(including the Website Conditions and Member Conditions) and the terms and conditions appearing on the online or hardcopy Contest form, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail to the extent of the conflict or inconsistency,
unless expressly stated otherwise on the online or hardcopy Contest form.
