acer predator is a laptop built of quality, no doubt of its quality and spec.
But this thing is heavy, for that aspect, i really don't think its worth buying it.
The money can be better spent on a laptop, if you are not moving it around, (unless you are staying in hostel etc)
If you are carrying it around in school daily, don't do it. You will sweat like hell, due to its weight, it is really heavy.
