Dell has announced its redesigned Alienware m17 line that is larger than the m15 line. The re-engineered keyboard and touchpad presents the unique shaped keys, their 1.7mm travel (up from 1.4mm) in the previous m17, and the new precision-point glass touchpad. The quality and performance are communicated by the lightness and structural rigidity of the magnesium alloy chassis.
It is powered by 9th Gen Intel® Core™ processors as well as NVIDIA® GeForce GTX® or RTX™ graphics. All processors on the m17 and feature Alienware's dynamic overclocking technology with retained turbo speeds.
The higher end graphics like the 2070s and 2080s are then also outfitted with 8-phase graphics voltage regulation and 6-phase processors voltage regulation to sustain the highest performance possible.
The cooling mechanism is driven by the evolutionary Cryo-Tech Cooling 3.0 technology that brings increased airflow and thermal efficiency to maintain this level of performance while enjoying the thinness, unlike other gaming laptops.
