Intel AMD NUC Islay Canyon mini PC
The NUC Islay Canyon mini PC is a partnership between Intel and AMD equipped with a combination of Whiskey Lake processor by Intel supported by AMD Radeon graphics card.
There are two versions of processors offered - Intel Core i5-8265U and Core i7-8565U. The mini PC is supplied with 8GB of LPDDR3-1866 memory built-in, which unfortunately cannot be upgraded, but there's an option for you to install Intel Optane memory for a performance boost if you prefer.
Other features on the mini PC include connectivity via Bluetooth 5.0, Gigabit Ethernet and wireless 8021.1ac support, with connections taking the form of HDMI 2.0b, Mini DisplayPort 1.2, 1 x USB 3.1 Type-C port and 3 x USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-A ports.
