The new Lenovo Thinkpad X395 is powered by 2nd Gen AMD Ryzen Pro processor which means longer battery life, faster processing and higher power efficiency. Starting at just 1.28kg, the ultra-portable Lenovo Thinkpad X395 can easily slips into a bag and it is easier to take your work with you. It is available with or without touchscreen and has battery life of up to 14.5 hours.
In terms of display, the base model includes a 1366×768 resolution TN panel. Lenovo bump that up to a 1,920-by-1,080-pixel Full HD IPS rated at 300 nits of brightness on higher-end models of the new 13.3-inch Lenovo Thinkpad X395. Being equipped with AMD's Ryzen Pro inside, the Lenovo Thinkpad X395 is aimed at business users and so fittingly supports an appropriate feature set.
Besides DASH remote management, memory encryption, and other capabilities of AMD’s Ryzen Pro 3000 platform, there is a 720p webcam with ThinkShutter privacy cover and optional IR sensors for Windows Hello, a match-in-sensor fingerprint reader and a dTPM 2.0 chip. The ThinkShutter integrated security cover for the webcam is equipped with a sliding switch that covers the webcam to prevent any clandestine prying.
With its customizable ThinkShield security platform, you have a choice of which software to pick from to keep your system safe. There is an optional ePrivacy filter called ThinkPad PrivacyGuard on the Lenovo Thinkpad X395 to prevent "shoulder surfing" as it renders the screen black for someone who is looking at it from the side.
