Motorola Moto E6

Overall Ratings:
Description:

The Motorola Moto E6 is a budget-friendly entry-level smartphone in 2019 that offers some refinements to its predecessor, the Moto E5.

The Moto E6 has the closest in design to the E5 but smaller 5.5-inch display (vs. 5.7-inch in E5), and a battery reduced to 3,000 mAh instead of 4,000 mAh — but luckily, it is removable this time, not too bad after all.

For internal specs, the RAM and storage are the same — 2GB and 16GB on board, respectively — but the processor has been bumped up to a Snapdragon 435 from the Snapdragon 427 in E5 model, which according to Motorola, is 50 percent faster.

There is a brand new feature - the “water repellent design” from a P2i nano coating — albeit not waterproof and has no IP rating, but it might survive a bit of rain or a splash, which is better than nothing.

Camera wise, it is improved with a 13-megapixel lens and now supports some of Motorola’s fancier gimmicks, like spot color and portrait modes.

It is set to release in Summer 2019.
