Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super GPU card
Nvidia’s premium RTX line is getting another addition - a variant of gaming-focused graphics cards named "GeForce® RTX 2060 SUPER™" which offers visual fidelity and lighting features to PC gaming.
The NVIDIA® GeForce® RTX 2060 SUPER™ graphics card is powered by the award-winning NVIDIA Turing™ architecture, bringing superfast comprehensive performance and graphics to gamers and creators alike.
NVIDIA Turing features real-time ray tracing and AI capabilities. The hybrid graphics capability represents a different generation in gaming GPUs, delivering up to 6X more performance than previous 10 Series NVIDIA Pascal™ GPUs.
The ray tracing hardware allows fast real-time ray tracing with physically accurate shadows, reflections, refractions, and global illumination within the game. The AI-processing horsepower accelerates gaming performance with NVIDIA DLSS.
Nvidia also claims that the Super cards offer, on average, about 15 percent gains in speed over their non-Super editions, with the upper benchmark of the cards’ performance levels achieving between 20 and 25 percent gains depending on your rig. For the RTX 2060 Super, it will get 8GB of memory instead of 6GB.
The company plans to keep the standard 2060 around as a low-end option for those who want the benefits of RTX, but don’t want to spend more than $400 or $500 on a new GPU.
