Razer Blade 15 (2019)

Overall Ratings:
Description:

You will find that the new Razer Blade 15 (2019) is the most improved Razer laptop to date with much more value crammed into this high-power gaming laptop than before.
The biggest change is the inclusion of Nvidia RTX graphics, which is great, along with dramatically increased battery life. In addition, the infrared camera in the Razer Blade 15 (2019) allows for Windows Hello facial login. There are two tiers to choose from too – the Advanced Model and the Base Model.

There are two new display choices available for the new Razer Blade 15 Advanced gaming laptop: a 4K OLED panel and a 240Hz high-refresh LCD option. This would appeal to two types of high-end laptop customers: the gamers who would be interested its 240Hz display and the content creators who would look for the 4K OLED panel and its rich color reproduction. It has both a high-refresh display and plenty of power for gaming, yet also has the I/O that content creators look for.

The Razer Blade 15 Advanced now comes with Intel’s new Core i7-9750H processor at 2.6GHz with a turbo boost to 4.5GHz, and a Wi-Fi 6 networking card with support for 2.4 Gbps speeds. The 240Hz screen, with its high refresh rates, provides a smoother experience for gaming. It has a 1080p resolution, with matte finish, and supports 100 percent of the sRGB color space.  The new 4K OLED panel is available with Nvidia’s RTX 2080 graphics card and is a touchscreen with an extended color space plus full DCI-P3 support. It also has a 1ms response time, and it comes with HDR 400 True Black certification. The OLED display has TUV certification for reduced blue light output, which should reduce strain on the users’ eyes.

Razer is also upgrading the Base Razer Blade 15 with Intel’s Core i7-9750H chip, RTX 2060 graphics card, and a faster screen - 144Hz 1080p LCD display. This is a considerable improvement over the 60Hz screen available previously.

Clad in the same all-black, unibody aluminum shell, the Razer Blade 15 keeps the exact same angular shape for 2019 replete with more subtle RGB lighting – down to just the keyboard and Razer logo on the lid. With a stunning design, powerful graphics and overall performance, Razer has made good on a truly complete gaming laptop package.
