Seeed, an IoT hardware enabler and service provider company, has released a Feather format board in the form of the Grove Shield for Particle Mesh. It is a Particle Mesh breakout board with 8 Grove connectors onboard allowing developers, hobbyists, and enthusiasts to build their cool IoT projects by connecting hundreds of Grove modules with Particle Mesh.

Particle Mesh is a mesh networking technology built on Thread and designed to connect the spaces in between existing Wi-Fi and cellular deployments with local networks that are low-cost, secure, and ultra-reliable.

3 hardware development kits offered by Seeed are powered by particle mesh - the Particle Argon, Particle Boron and Particle Xenon.

With Particle Mesh, each dev kit creates local wireless networks that other devices join to help collect sensor data, exchange messages, and share their connection to the cloud.
