V-Moda Crossfade M-100 Master headphone
The V-Moda Crossfade M-100 Master over-ear headphone comes as a follow-up to the original Crossfade M-100 released a few years back with its design based on feedback from professional audiophiles. The M-100 Master is influenced by V-Moda's parent company, the Japanese giant Roland, a respected name in the world of audio equipment.
V-Moda claims the Crossfade M-100 Master has improved on its predecessor in virtually every category, from sound quality to durability and comfort, and what's more, at a lower price.
The Crossfade M-100 Master is Hi-Res audio certified, something which was achieved by equipping the 50mm dual-diaphragm drivers with Japanese CCAW coils. The resulting frequency response is a claimed 5-40,000Hz, which is certainly wider than most headphones.
Furthermore, both comfort and audio quality get enhanced from the larger memory-foam earpads, which according to V-Moda, provide effective sound isolation, rendering other noise-canceling technology unnecessary and undesirable as it “can pollute pure analog sound.” The headphone comes with a hard-shell carry case, two detachable audio cords (including a microphone and single-button equipped SpeakEasy cable), and an adapter.
