Comparing the Apple smartwatches

The original Apple Watch, the Series 1, 2 and 4 are all discontinued, but this is a chance to get them for the cheap, especially from sellers looking to clear their stock. Why would the company choose to retain the Series 3 and 5 while discontinuing the rest?

I like the larger screen on smartwatches. I agree that the last update is not as interesting for a larger audience. I definitely expected more from it. I would still go for the Series 3 if I am looking at the price.

I'm not planning to pick up this watch since I have the Series 4.  It's not hard to find discontinued models, so just look around if that's the one you like best. Look for authorized resellers if you're worried about authenticity.

I also have the Series 4, so this will be a pass. The health-related features are worth noting, and the end-to-end user experience is excellent. There is not much difference of the Series 5 from the Series 4.

Which web browser do you use?

Weren't they going to get rid of IE? I always wonder who still Internet Explorer and for what reason? The only people I know that still use it are the people who have no idea how to install anything on their laptops. I use Google Chrome because I really enjoy the browser extensions.
Stop using Internet Explorer immediately; also, why are you still using Internet Explorer? Another major security vulnerability for the browser has been disclosed. MASHABLE.COM

I also use Chrome for the same reason, I like the extensions. But I also feel like Google does a lot to secure the information so it is a very secure browser, or at least a browser that I trust.

I use Google Chrome mainly. I have given up IE since 7-8 years ago. It was too slow for my patience. Safari is the second one I’m using. But still, Chrome for most of the time.

The 5G Euphoria

AT&T's intentions when launching 5G Evolution might have been good, but the company seems to have courted more trouble, as a result. Many people could have fallen victim to assuming that they were on the 5G network already.
Sprint calls out AT&T's 5G E in full-page New York Times ad AT&T is rebranding potentially millions of 4G smartphones to make it appear as though they are on 5G networks, explaining that technologies deeply linked to faster 5G networks already exist on 4G. According to the article, Sprint is working hard to deliver the first 5G smartphone in the US and feels that AT & T could hamper their efforts. Unfortunately, legal suits could damage 5G's reputation and delay its rollout.

Honestly their bad acts never seem to have a lasting affect on their profits.  There aren't many cell phone companies around and some are very much dependent on where you're located.  The  phone providers have it made.

I just used the keyword 'YouTube for cats' and found a couple of videos (some 8 hours long) that can be entertaining for our little pets.  It is just unfortunate that he will be wondering why he can't get hold of the birds and mice before him!

I've actually tried this with my cats but they are not interested. It is as if they don't care or maybe aren't able to see the screen? Maybe it is the depth that is missing?

It's not that revolutionary.  It's similar to Amazon Show or just FaceTiming online except it works through your television instead of another device.  Am I missing something here?

That's essentially it.  It's videotelephony .  What I've noticed is that people tend to spend the whole conversation checking out their own appearance rather than focusing on the other person and having a genuine conversation.  It's maddening!

The Urbanears headphones look really nice. I just don't like nor do I understand why they don't have any volume controls? I also really like the 1MORE earphones, those look nice and expensive.

I've noticed many wired headphones are that way, regardless of brand.  Maybe the manufacturers figure it's just as easy to adjust the volume through the device as it is through the headphones.

Maybe it's just me, but even when the volume controls are on the headset, I still use the device itself to make adjustments.  I guess it's just habit.

I prefer to buy my games outright.  However, since Goolge is only charging $2 per month for the first year, parting with $24 for access to that many games is a no-brainer for me.

Yes, this is a path many companies wouldn't easily follow, considering that the average person isn't going to splash $30,000 for a TV set. It would have been better for LG to create the 8K resolution, with 8K content available.
