AT&T's intentions when launching 5G Evolution might have been good, but the company seems to have courted more trouble, as a result. Many people could have fallen victim to assuming that they were on the 5G network already.

Oh wow, I hadn't heard about this before now. The article states that Sprint is suing AT&T and I bet the company will face some class action lawsuits over this too.

According to the article, Sprint is working hard to deliver the first 5G smartphone in the US and feels that AT & T could hamper their efforts. Unfortunately, legal suits could damage 5G's reputation and delay its rollout.

AT&T is being ridiculous and I don't blame Sprint for taking out that ad and filing a lawsuit. T-Mobile has been sued by New York City for advertising and selling used phones as new. You'd think these telecom companies would stop ruining... See more

Honestly their bad acts never seem to have a lasting affect on their profits. There aren't many cell phone companies around and some are very much dependent on where you're located. The phone providers have it made.

I agree that being in the news for all the wrong reasons doesn't seem to affect their profits. The unfortunate thing here is that all these shenanigans could delay the 5G rollout.
