I hope everything doesn't move to the cloud.  I do a lot of camping and traveling and can't imagine being tied to an internet connection like that.

Ten or so years ago, no one would have ever imagined that game streaming was going to be a reality. I also hope that even with existing online, people will still be able to play their favorite games without an internet connection.

I never thought of it that way.  That doesn't get any of them off the hook for paying low wages in sweatshops overseas or for making their products end prematurely so we have to buy a newer model, but I suppose they are doing good too.

Eh, they would do better if consumers quit buying the stuff.  I think we all like the combination of convenience and decently priced stuff to do much about it.

I love that Anker solar charger.  It works quickly and is easy to pack away once everything is charged.  My only regret is that it doesn't have its own power bank.   It's still a great though.

This is a great one and I guess no one had foreseen a standard lamp that also functions as a smart speaker. It's only downside would be that you need to purchase two of the same speakers for stereo sound to be set up.

I noticed that too, but it isn't a deal breaker for me.  I'd need at least two lamps anyway, one on each nightstand.  I bet that will make a difference to many buyers though.

Well, I value stereo sound and would do anything to get it, so this is a real deal-breaker. All the same, this is a great device.

It's a little odd to see Sonos and Ikea working together.  I think of Sonos as a fancier brand, whereas Ikea generally markets towards the budget conscious.  It's an interesting pairing. The lamp is tasteful and simple.  I'd buy one.

I do understand their purpose of changing the names but it just seems ridiculous to me. People will still just call them Instagram and WhatsApp anyway.

I agree that this is quite an interesting collection and I love the automatic guitar tuner because from experience, it is never easy to manually tune a guitar, especially as a beginner. I also love the idea of a mood-enhancing speaker.

Yeah. And I also like how technology has made learning instruments easier in recent days. Though for a piano, for example, I prefer to play on a traditional one as the sound quality of traditional pianos seem better to me.

Same here because nothing comes close to the sound of a traditional piano. Overall, I think it is better to stick with the traditional instruments because they produce better and quality sound.

The only thing I don't like about the extension is that it only works when you allow YouTube to keep track of your history.  I have mine turned off and prefer to keep it that way.

You need a good device when out there at the farm so I understand the inclusion of the waterproof smartphone in the list. There are plenty of gadgets in the collection that anyone will find pretty useful.

Financial discipline doesn't come easy for anyone. I love reading books where the author gives practical advice and also narrates a story of his struggles (if any). I agree that Dave Ramsey is such a great writer!

Thanks for sharing this info!  I just went into my settings and opted-out.  I'm surprised Amazon has made this move.  Their sales don't seem to have suffered, despite any privacy concerns that consumers and watchdogs might have.  So why bother?

Well, it's obviously because they care so much about protecting our privacy.  I'm being sarcastic of course.  My guess is that Amazon was looking for good PR and new most users wouldn't bother to change the settings.

A home theater is super cool. You can invite your friends to come and it feels like you are watching the movies in a cinema. That should be expensive to build a home theater though.
