$57 million may not be much for a company that reports revenues in excess of $100 billion yearly but will we see more companies toeing the line from now on? No company will want to be in the news for the wrong reasons.

Companies keep getting fined yet they continue violating the same laws that exist to protect consumers. Sometime last year, Google was fined $5 billion, for 'Android antitrust violations'. It seems there is more than meets the eye here.

I'm sure Google makes more than that, so paying a fine is not a problem. Also, where does that money go? Is the local government going to use it to further protect the users? Are we going to stop using Google's services? Unfortunately, I don't... See more
