Call me old, but the last gaming phone I remember is the N-gage. Mobile gaming has come a long way since then, but so does the smartphones. Now you can play big games on regular phones as long as the processor and RAM are strong enough. Are these gaming phones going to sweep the market?

As much as I may not fancy playing games on my smartphone, it makes sense (for gamers) to have a separate device solely dedicate to this cause. I believe these won't be very pricey?

If the phone is very pricey, then I would understand because the specs of the phone should be higher than the regular phones in order to accommodate the minimum requirements of games to play them.

I am hardly a gamer and even if I was, playing any game on my smartphone, would be the last thing on my mind. I fill a few puzzles and play chess but I wouldn't consider these to be bulky apps. A serious gamer would probably consider purchasing... See more
