Do you think this will greatly affect the October event of Apple? The two CEO's are optimistic that they will return to business together after this ruffle will be over and I hope it will be soon.

It will probably affect the stock price of both companies more than anything else. It's silly though, because they're wasting money by not negotiating with each other.

Wasting money is not their priority. Their priority is their prestige and protection of their "rights". Both companies can easily regain their losses because people will continue buying smartphones and tablets.

I don't think that this debacle between these two giants will affect the Apple's October event. The chips won't be a real issue for the buyers so long as the hardware doesn't mess up like what happened with Samsung Phones.

Someone mentioned about the AirPower not being released this year after Apple teased us with this device last year. We don't know what is inside AirPower but I an inclination that some of the parts were made by Qualcomm.
