Noticed all suggested systems including the budget one have each got a recommended speaker stand set which I find commendable. I feel that they are indispensable especially on a desktop as they enable the speakers to project sound at a proper angle. Using a set of Isoacoustics stands myself, I'd rate them highly as they are sturdy and yet adjustable. Can't comment on the rest though as I've no experience with them.
