I have always made it a habit to constantly clear the cache as this could easily take up a lot of hard drive space. If I am not mistaken, failing to delete your browser's cache could potentially slow down the PC.

I have mine set up to automatically clear once I close my browser. I still appreciate articles like these just to see the different options.

I was just ask about your browser of choice until I searched online and found a way of enabling this for Google Chrome. I believe that this feature makes everything else pretty straight forward.

The first thing any tech support worker tells you to do is clear your cache. The first thing I do when I'm experiencing a computer issue is clear the cache. It doesn't usually solve my problem, to be honest.

This is true and it makes everything else easier when you first clear the cache and see if a problem persists, before calling tech support. I tried to set up the automatic option but it seems not to work with my laptop.

This is very true Paradox84 and I made it a rule to always clear the cache every morning. It makes it very easy for a tech worker when this has already been done.
