The most common myth has been that your phone can explode if it is left charging overnight. For a long time, almost everyone believed this. What I have picked from the article is that the battery doesn't have to drop to zero before recharging!

I have never heard this myth but it seems silly. My phone gets hotter when I use it for a long period of time than when I leave it on the charger.

You probably have heard of phones that exploded while being charged. It always felt like this was more about using non-standard chargers, and that is why it is advisable to buy only from verified outlets.

I mostly charge my phone overnight because I am often using it throughout the day. Does your battery heat up when you attempt to charge it while in use?

People will always come up with their own opinions about everything. It could have been the case in the past, but modern smartphones have cut off the power supply when the charge is full. I always charge my phone when it is on low charge.

That's a myth that seems heavily persistent, I guess because it was true years ago. Technology is always changing so it makes sense that how we take care of it might change too.

I've actually never heard that one. I do charge mine through the night because that's when it's most convenient. I'm glad it's okay to do so.

It's more convenient to charge your phone when it's not in use or when it's low on charge. I have never heard of this myth before even though I always plug off my smartphone when it's fully charged.

I always charge my phone overnight because it is most convenient. I have been doing for over 10 years. But also never heard of phones exploding. I did hear that your battery life decreases when you overcharge your phone.
