I didn't know some of these apps had the features outlined in this article. I also think the friendship lamp is a really nice idea. I may end up getting one for the people I'm really close with but don't get to see very often.

Technology keeps evolving every other day and distance should never been an excuse for people not to create a lasting bond. I like the concept around the friendship lamp and it is definitely a device worth having.

I appreciate the article and the tips. I think it's hard to keep in touch sometimes because work can get so hectic and demanding. I think some of the apps will be handy for my friends and family.

As technology advances, we may have a tangible replica of ourselves and so we won't have to be physically away from our loved ones. For now, we can use these apps for us to get connected with the people we care.
