It's great news, though I don't understand why they put humans as the final couriers. I thought the purpose of using drones was to simplify the whole process. Is it about privacy and security?

Well, I think having humans as the final couriers is a good place to start and perhaps there will be other advancements with time. I can't wait to see how well Uber will implement this.

Now that I think about it again, I suppose Uber doesn't want to risk their delivery. The human couriers can at least do something if the drones mess up to make sure the consumers still get their items despite errors. I hope it goes well!

Well, the think about using machines is that you require time to perfect almost everything about their capabilities. I think it is just a matter of time before this revolution happens.
