Are people just being paranoid because of all the data controversies recently or do you think this is really just another way for Facebook to covertly get more data about you? Is this really any creepier than any other smart home device?

This is concerning to me, even though it might be silly to jump on the fear bandwagon. Facebook has lost all goodwill since their last scandal.
