The reason that most people (especially those that travel often) opt for Android phones is for the simple reason that it allows for the use of more than one sim card in the same phone. I have previously read about Chinese phones having up to 4 sim slots. I feel that the adoption of the dual-sim technology targets users from other parts of the world, and not necessarily US consumers.

I agree with you that the eSim actually wins because I have had an Android phone with two slots and to some extent, there were slight signal interference. Do you think Apple should follow this path or still stick with the single slim slot?
