I am a fan of Whatsapp and I like that they work a lot on user-friendliness, but now they are going to include ads as well? I'm not sure how I feel about that, but I guess it was inevitable?

I love the new shortcuts because I think it will make responding to messages easier. That way we may not need to open the app at all, so we don't need to see the ads that come with the status updates. As long as the ads are not intrusive, I will... See more

It should not be a necessary evil because these ads can sometimes help us when we need something. I have used one of these ads when it showed me a sale of something I really needed.

Correct me if I am wrong but do these ads show up in the Whatsapp app? I have never come across them. What I love most is the 'Vacation' mode that will archive a chat for as long as I want.
