These remind me of Back to the Future! I guess we're already past the year that Back to the Future II was set in, but this is something I never expected to see.

I am not surprised by our current technology. I would like to be one of the beta testers of these shoes. I love playing basketball so I hope I can use for that sport.

I love basketball too and quite agree that this is both an innovative and interesting piece of technology. It would be great to have most tracking capabilities with these self-lacing shoes.

I think they look really cool, but the device would probably be uncomfortable for me to wear. The tops of my feet are pretty sensitive.

Count me out. The last thing I want is another device that needs charging. I'm happy with my manual laces. We don't need a "smart" version of everything.
