Any shortened is always a no-no for me because why would anyone want to conceal the true identity of their website? Malware distributors are always improving their tactics.

Shortened links aren't all that bad. YouTube is also doing shortened links. Sometimes the problem is with us who don't read the links. The link will become suspicious when a website has been misspelled like Facebook into Fakebook.
