I've always thought it was interesting that people are so quick to write off an object because it causes injuries. When did we stop taking responsibility for our own actions? I can see that these things are a bit risky but it's still people operating them, right?

Though I haven't ridden on one before, the big question would be, is it any safe to ride on an electric scooter? Which surfaces make one more prone to an accident? I strongly believe that any sort of safety measure, begins with an individual.

I agree with you. The reliance on machines and automation shouldn't cause anyone to throw caution to the wind. The idea here is that despite these machines doing most things for us, we still need to be responsible for our actions.
