Facebook tosses itself in unfamiliar waters and succeeds at times. Libra's success or failure could depend on the popularity of other cryptocurrencies.

I find it baffling really. Sometimes it looks like Mark Zuckerberg doesn't have a friend in the world, even though the companies that are taking issue with Facebook have similar problems.

Well, supposedly they will have 100 members by their launch date, so they're hardly hurting for interest. I'm not a huge fan of Facebook, but I don't see the company or their projects failing anytime soon. That includes Project Libra.

Back in the day, Facebook was very popular, but that has changed over time. Did the Cambridge Analytica scandal affect its numbers? What's the reason for the Libra mass exodus? That could determine how everything pans out.

I don't see Facebook failing on this and if it opens up for regular people to invest in their cryptocurrency then I'm definitely taking the leap.

It doesn't look good when founding members start dropping like flies. And the world has become pretty cynical about cryptocurrency anyway. Maybe that's enough to kill the project off.

Absolutely! Either way, we could say that 7 out of 28 founding members leaving isn't so alarming. There could be some pressure from global regulators, but Facebook is so big a company, to weather the storm.
