A lot is being said about this event that will happen in less than a week's time but the excitement being witnessed clearly illustrates that Apple affairs generate the much-needed attention and focus. Mac Mini seems to be the one device that will get a significant spec update. Question is, will it be affordable?

Affordability is not in the vocabulary of Apple. Their products in the early stages of smartphones were a novelty, in terms of being new in the market. That period has long gone, but they got stuck with their pricing.

Yes, they're more expensive, but Macs last for ages and most compatible software programs are generally less expensive than the Windows compatible versions. Plus, the Genius Bar makes it super convenient to get help.

I have to agree that the lifespan of a Mac is longer than a PC, no matter how good the setup of a PC is. Besides, iOS has the capability to have a Windows system for people who are used with the Windows system.

I agree with you that Macs have a much longer lifespan than their Windows counterparts and for $1,999, I am tempted to preorder the MacBook Air. Who wouldn't love stereo speakers that are 25% louder than before?
