Lyft seems to think that paying a monthly fee of $299 for an all-access pass is a better deal than buying a car. What's your opinion?

Calling it "all-access" is misleading in my opinion. According to the article, it's only good for 30 rides per month that are valued at $15 or less or you'll pay the difference. That's hardly worthy of being called an all-access subscription. ... See more

I could see this working for someone who needs regular rides to the store and to appointments. It's tough to wrangle groceries on a bus and scheduling appointments around public transportation isn't easy.
