I never considered Chromebooks to be affordable and it makes sense for these devices to be popular with the younger users. My worry about the Chrome OS is the fact that some programs like Photoshop CC cannot be installed.

The article raises a good point about price, but I wouldn't buy a Chromebook at the moment because I don't want trapped in Google's ecosystem.

Using the Chromebook seems restrictive plus its incompatibility with certain apps becomes a major disadvantage. The truth of the matter is that not all of these devices are cheap.

I'd rather pay a little more and get a Microsoft computer. You can get good deals before Christmas and before the start of a new school year.

The thing about deals is that you can only utilize them when there's a pressing need to purchase an item. Chromebooks are restrictive in every sense and they seem fit for a certain category of the population.
