There is a reduced fee for college students whose email addresses end with .edu, but how would Amazon go about verifying people's identities? The benefits in the Amazon Prime package seem suited for the regular shopper. Has anyone here already subscribed to Amazon Prime?

Well, it depends on how active you are on Amazon. I have a few friends that have this membership and it suits them because they are always buying an item or two or are avid readers. Overall, the cost of the membership isn't really exaggerated.

I have had about the prime membership before and I think that anyone stands to benefit, depending on their needs. There is simply no need to subscribe to a service, when you hardly use the services they offer.
