It's interesting that physically moving closer to an object creates a better image than what you'd get with the zoom feature. I always assumed they'd turn out about the same.

Zooming totally distorts the quality of the image, causing it to be blurred. The few pictures I have taken using my phone have ended up being great by virtue of moving closer to the subject.

I can attest that zooming in with your phone produces a poor quality image. The amount the quality lessens is strange to me, because it's not just some barely noticeable thing; it's a lot worse! The picture becomes blurry and pixelated.

A lot of people have excellent phones that can take quality pictures yet they do not know the basics of doing so. Photography is an art and it takes a little effort to master it.

I hardly use my phone to take photos but even if I was to do so, the tips shared here would be of great help. Most people are always in a hurry to take pictures without making an effort to capture great shots. Photography is an art.
