Question is, who (in this day and age) doesn't spend a lot of time browsing the net and visiting countless websites? Somehow, I feel like Windows users are more prone to viruses compared to other operating systems. Either way, I only use Windows Defender and so far, so good.

In addition to being a frequent internet user, I also transfer data around using USB sticks, so I think I have even bigger chances of getting infected. I make sure my antiviruses and other protections up to date and check my devices regularly.... See more

I only use the USB sticks when it is really necessary to do so since there are countless safer ways of sharing data between PCs. Like you say, the suspicious links are the ones to avoid most!
