Didn't AirPods get an update recently? The news came rather sudden, and we would have it on the shelves soon. Choosing gets harder these days, though waterproof design isn't very inviting for me.

The reports come from two sources. First, Digitimes says that third-generation AirPods will be on sale later this year, with noise-cancelation introduced as a new feature.
The second report comes from the highly-regarded analyst at TF Industries: Ming-Chi Kuo. He believes there will be two new AirPods models and they will go into mass production sometime between the last quarter of this year and the first quarter of 2020. One of the two new pairs is believed to look similar to the current AirPods and come in at the same price. The second pair of AirPods will have what Kuo refers to as an "all-new form factor design" and will come at a higher price.
