I love the hype being created around Samsung's 10th anniversary. Will we get to witness the launch of the foldable phone? Time will tell. It would be great if this company incorporated wireless charging and the in-screen fingerprint into future smartphones.

It is common for smartphone companies to borrow innovations from each other and I think that this is a trend that will continue in 2019. Whereas I don't mind the notch, I don't pay so much attention to it. Now there could be a battle among smartphone companies to perfect the in-screen camera.

2018 wasn't a great year for a lot of companies but considering that this isn't the first time he has held such public talks, hopefully Facebook won't run into similar problems in 2019. This is definitely going to be year with a lot of technological advancements.

Samsung must have had a genuine reason not to give too much details about its first foldable phone. Nonetheless, this could get more and more companies seeking to outdo each other. All the same, I have a feeling that Samsung will rank highest.

My main focus will be on the iPad Pro and what else (apart from just the design) could change. A lot has been said about the Face ID functionality as well the bezzel-less display and these rumors just serve to increase the anxiety, as the d-day approaches.

Memojis are a preserve of just a few phone owners

After downloading the iOS 12, I was hoping to try out the memoji feature but the functionality is only available to users with the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max or iPhone XR. I would love the ability to make a customized Animoji that almosts looks like me. Has anyone tried this feature?

The Apple pencil has been touted as an amazing component but we are yet to see an iPhone that supports the use of this accessory. The iPad Pro model will likely come with a new pencil and also lack the home button. What possibly informs Apple's decision to get rid of this button?
