Thanks for sharing! I'm actually looking for a VPN right now. Personally, I'm looking for a secure, reliable and fast connection. Speed in particular is something I'm not willing to sacrifice, so my business is going to go to the company who can... See more

In my opinion, they aren't worth the price. You can get a Samsung for cheaper that works just as good if not better.  Amazon Fire tablet isn't really a fair comparison as they're made to be cheaper/more easily accessible.

It's always heartwarming to see this side of technology. Some are afraid that we'll become soulless automatons once technology reaches a certain point, but I think it will only continue to enhance our lives. Yes, there are some drawbacks, but... See more

Count me as another gamer who is uneasy about the push towards cloud gaming. That being said, I love the sound of this browser. I use Twitch and Discord all the time, so having tools geared specifically for those things is very convenient.

It feels like the 3 was just released yesterday! I suppose it's been several months. Google is really hoping to improve sales considering how disappointing the 3 performed.

Very nice. I wish I could have faith in products advertised on sites like IndieGoGo, but like Vinceroni mentioned, I've been burned in the past - multiple times! I hope this one actually goes through production. Once it's established, I'd be... See more

Hmm, those are rather lofty claims. Companies shoot themselves in the foot by promising the world and then not being able to deliver. That being said, I'm not sold on Google's Stadia project either. I think a really well done console has a... See more

One thing that never fails to confuse me is the design of these gaming laptops. They take the alien concept seriously and create something that isn't pleasing to my eyes, though this one is very slim. Battery life is a concern, though most of my... See more

I think this package delivery stuff is getting out of hand. How fast does it need to be?  Pretty soon they're going to find a way to beam it directly to you within five seconds of completing your order.

Really interesting article. I keep my computer on 24/7. I didn't think it would extend the life of my computer to do that, I just dislike waiting for it to restart and load up all my programs.

I've read a lot about this practice. I don't believe for a second that Instagram is trying to get rid of the fake activity because they stand to profit a lot from it!

Thanks for the reminder. I haven't run a check on my hard drive in a while.  It's important yet so easy to forget. Sorry to hear you lost all of your files! That's horrible. Hopefully you didn't lose anything too important.

I like the look of these. I'm the kind of person who always wears headphones on public transit because I want to tune out all the noise around me. I could really use a good pair of noise-cancelling headphones.

I have concerns about how this is going to affect the marketplace, specifically indie games. Right now, you can buy bundles of indie games for $1.00 - $5.00. If they were forced to be part of some mega-Google marketplace, what does that mean for... See more

There were many articles complaining - and some seeming to confirm - that Apple was going to stick with the old lightning port. I hope it's true that they've decided to listen to what consumers want.

Drones are one of the most important modern inventions. It opens a lot of doors. A lot of people think drones are creepy, but I don't think we've even scratched the surface of what we can accomplish with them.

I don't like the sound of this one bit. I agree it does seem like the US is trying to bully Huawei and it's unacceptable. I hope they get called out for trying to strong-arm other counties into picking "their side".

I like the idea of a charging case for the AirPods. It makes more sense to use them if you have a way to charge them easily and reliably.

What's with all the watches these days? They seem be rising in popularity, even though I don't know a single person who owns one.
piperz
I find it hard to believe these were leaked accidentally. I think this was a deliberate act by Samsung to create some buzz for their new products.
piperz
Great idea, but I think for something like that to work it would have to be more than a one-trick pony. I'd personally like to see displays for traffic and news as well.
piperz
This is an important step in having electric cars go mainstream. Vehicles equal convenience to most people and electric cars are still pretty inconvenient to charge. The price of $500 isn't too bad either.

Wow, incredible. The video of the robot getting up after the fall was pretty cool. It's amazing that the robot learned how to get up all on its own after thousands of trial runs - sounds kind of like a human to me.

I have dual monitors for my laptop. It doesn't hinder the performance at all. Of course, mine isn't a built-in dual display, but it does the trick just the same. Having 2 monitors is a must for me while using a computer.

Phones are pretty much identical these days, the only difference is screen size, battery life and color. One may have some cool gimmick incorporated, but the core function of the phone is identical to all others.

To me, driverless cars are one of those things that sound super cool in theory but fail miserably in practice. It's unfortunate that testing them is so dangerous and some people have lost their lives.

Very cool list. HoloLens Sydney catches my attention the most, I hope Microsoft can develop this to a point where it is viable for consumers.

Interesting list. I didn't know the VW Beetle wasn't going to be made anymore. It's such an iconic vehicle. I think their value is going to increase once production stops.

It doesn't look that much different from any other recent phone released. I'm saving my money and waiting for the folding smartphones to come out.

What a cool idea!  Well then again, I don't want machinery to replace the people who cook the pizzas.  I hope that Pizza Hut isn't so focused on speed that they hurt their product quality.
