That Was Quick - Google Addresses Security Issue with Pixel 4
#Google addressed concerns about the #Pixel4's Face Unlock feature which for some reason allows the phone to be unlocked even if the owner's eyes are closed. A software update is in the works that will make it optional to require that the eyes be open. #FaceUnlock #Alphabet #smartphone #mobilephone #cybersecurity #security

Pixel 4 Update to Add Option to Only Unlock When Your Eyes Open

Google thinks Face Unlock is secure even if it does work with your eyes closed, but a future update will offer the option of requiring that your eyes are open to unlock.
