Some of the new options that sidecar brings to the table seem useful, while others are more like novelty tricks.  I was okay with using apps to achieve the same things that sidecar offers so give one a try if you don't want to buy a more current... See more

Yesterday, a magazine article suggested that Netflix is looking for ways to stop password sharing in order to bolster the growth of its service.  That could be a way for them to open up more revenue streams.

Sometimes Amazon's AI recommends the most useless products to me.  I've often wondered how they've determined who should see what.  I've never ordered anything for babies on the site, but toys and bottles are often recommended to me.
PX1995
I bet it's something that most consumers don't even know about.  They just see and hear the greater number and think that means it's better, it's faster, and it's more advanced,  without considering how it plays out in the real world.

I appreciate the convenient, actionable steps that are listed in the article.  I sometimes forget how much information I've put out there.  Now I can easily clean it up.

I've owned a few products like a GPS device and a smartwatch by Garmin.  Both worked well and lasted for years. I actually gave the smartwatch to my nephew once I upgraded to another one and he still uses it.  I haven't used this particular... See more

Like the article suggests,  I tried using a flash drive on my old Windows 7 laptop to speed things up through Microsoft's ReadyBoost.  Unfortunately, I didn't notice a difference.

It does look like a handy device that runs fast and holds tons of material.  If I took photos and videos more often I'd snag one.

I noticed that you can get the version that can't be modified at a cheaper price, but it's totally worth it to splurge for the one with swappable switches.
PX1995
Oh yeah, it's definitely worth the higher price for a customizable gaming keyboard.  I went ahead and pre-ordered one on Logitech's site, but I bet they'll be a little cheaper near Black Friday.

It's like they're jealous of the attention that Amazon and Microsoft are getting from their big reveals.  Apple is trying to steal their thunder, like a bridesmaid who announces her pregnancy during a wedding reception.
PX1995
I don't agree with everything the company and Mark Zuckerberg has done, but I feel bad for him to be honest.  He has no one he can trust.  That must be a lonely existence.

I have heard a lot of reviews of these headphones, despite not owning them before. Either way, almost every such device has a 'noise-cancellation feature'. Is it something you consider when purchasing headphones?
PX1995
I do look for the noise-cancellation feature, mostly because it helps when traveling or trying to get work done in busy areas.  The reviews look decent on this one by Skullcandy.

I really hope they don't stop developing the Surface. It's my favorite tablet. I've used the iPad, Amazon Fire, Samsung Galaxy, and even a no name brand.  In my opinion, none compared to the Surface.
PX1995
I love my standalone tablets, but the Surface Pro is my favorite 2-in-1.  I hope these rumors turn out to be true, especially the one about shifting to USB-C as that would be more convenient.

I love how Facebook figured out that humans could be driven by likes and shares and could become addicted to it.  It was a tool that Facebook exploited.  How odd to see this change. Isn't it too little too late?
PX1995
I don't think I'd be comfortable with Amazon listening to me all day.  That's a lot of microphone power to wear on your face everyday.

I appreciate your sharing the article as I've wondered what was going on with the company.  Huawei is banned from my workplace, so I haven't bought any of their devices, though I've heard they are good.

I'm all for doing whatever it takes to ensure my pets are safe.  We love them like family.  I'm not sure I buy into the idea that Blockchain is the answer though.

Same here.  As much as I love the Switch, I'd like to see something that's a bit smaller like the old DS.  I hope we see some new games too.

Technology keeps evolving every other day and distance should never been an excuse for people not to create a lasting bond. I like the concept around the friendship lamp and it is definitely a device worth having.

I appreciate the article and the tips.  I think it's hard to keep in touch sometimes because work can get so hectic and demanding.  I think some of the apps will be handy for my friends and family.

I'm disappointed.  The specs sound fine, more than fine, really, but I was hoping for something different since it's been so long.  Apple used to excel at innovation.  What happened to their creativity?

This must be costing Intel a fortune!  Sadly, as soon as things are truly fixed another attack will come along.  It's like playing Whac-A-Mole at the arcade.

It looks like the camera is good on this one too.  I would love to have a Huawei phone if the brand wasn't so controversial.  They're banned at work though.
Harper
I find the criteria they used to rank these phones a bit odd.  It seems like the look and design of the phone factored into it a great deal, even though it's highly subjective.
PX1995
I think many consumers actually do care about the phone's aesthetics so I can understand why it was included in their analysis.  For some people the phone you carry is a status symbol.

The television for $650 sounds like a great deal.  I just don't have any experience with the brand so the Sony might be a better bet for me.  Thanks for the info!

It's intriguing to see where we are headed, but I do worry about cyber security.  The more we buy, the more we're opening ourselves up to threats.  Of course, I buy IoT devices anyway and just try to keep them updated.

From the article I can't really tell if Microsoft just made a mistake with their categorization or if this was done on purpose to mislead users and siphon their data.
