I am for progress, but it looks like we are becoming too reliant on the gadgets we make. These gadgets should "help" us with our activities. However, sometimes we cannot do anything without these gadgets.

If some of the cameras are set on the sides, then I would be ecstatic. I haven't played with a smartphone that has multiple cameras so I can't really tell the difference between the regular smartphones with this one.

This kind of strategy is a product of capitalism so we cannot complain as this is how business works in the world of capitalism. Google Chrome made their browser so good that people used it more than the other browsers. If the other browsers... See more

Toshiba is a well known brand so I wasn't really wary of the quality of this OLED TV even before reading this article. The low price would raise a red flag but after reading the review, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase the Toshiba 55X9863DB.
Armida
You are right about Toshiba about being a good company to rely on. We have a Toshiba CRT TV and it is working fine. I would agree that the other companies might be capitalizing on the word OLED making the price of their TV's that high.

I wonder if their sales are decreasing since new products seem to be released regularly. They also get more advanced in evolution, probably thanks to the competition from phone cameras. I think smartphones are leading ahead as they can be... See more

My only hope is that they won't use this technology to control or suppress our freedom. Our society today is well advanced at the cost of our security, privacy, and social interaction.

Maybe it's just me, but these retro devices seem priced too high, even with the games included.  I'd rather put that money towards a new console that's modern.
Armida
I agree with your sentiment. I know that these are classics and it reminds us of our times when we were growing up. The price should be lower or retained, at least, the original price.

Count me in on this one. The price is quite expensive for a mug, but this mug is unique as it retains the heat of the coffee to the temperature that we have set.
Armida
The temperature setting is the one that attracted my attention. I don't like my coffee to be very hot, so there were times when I needed to let it cool down a bit for my tongue not get burned, but sadly it will become too cold for my liking.

Hopefully, we will see it next year even though there are no rumors regarding this device as of now. Apple might have integrated this system to the Pencil in which it charges just by magnetically attached to the iPad.

I wonder if Apple's battle with Qualcomm has anything to do with the delay and decision to erase any mention of the charger?  Maybe there's nothing to it.  It wouldn't be the first time a tech company over-promised and under-delivered.
Armida
The Qualcomm theory is very plausible. There might be some internal parts of the AirPower that comes from Qualcomm and that may hinder Apple from fully developing this device.
Armida
Everyone can make use of this attachable, from students, teachers, archaeologists, doctors, and even artists. The system still needs some improvement and I wish the system will just save the images locally instead of through the cloud.

Hollywood portrayal of AI's made us fear them, wherein many of these programs increased the quality of our lives. The robots with AI freed us with menial work of doing one specific action over and over again.

It is important to roll out a fix for this, because it can be frustrating to encounter such problems when dealing with a new device. Surely, Google should have been able to identify and fix this problem when these devices were under the test... See more
Armida
It may be that they have tested it and have seen the flaws. They may even try fixing it, but they might think that the fix is enough and another test won't be needed.

I'm not in need of a laptop yet, but if I do, then I will consider buying this.I'm actually saving money to buy the 2-in-1 smartphones. If you were going to choose which one to buy, are you going for the 2-in-1 laptop or smartphone?

If you may, I would like to add one more tip. The carpets, curtains, or even rags can absorb or filter sound. We have to bear in mind this when buying a sound system. The sound quality might be different when testing it in the shop where you buy... See more

My excitement died down when they finally announced the phones' prices. I wanted it, but I don't need it yet. My reason is actually the same as you guys have mentioned.
Armida
I may be used to having a phone that has no protruding camera, and that is why I don't like this design of the XR. Anyway, if I don't like it, then I will just find another phone that suits me.
Armida
You mentioned what I failed to say. The extension of the camera at the back "might" entangle with my things when I place it inside my purse. I guess it is me who is the problem because I don't separate my phone with my other stuff.

Like Ramrod, I wouldn't consider $749 as being a budget-friendly amount at all but I think this makes sense if you consider how much the XS and XS Max cost, side-by-side. Considering I still use the 6, my issue with these new releases has to be... See more

I would like to know your point on the size matter. Can you please elaborate? Different people have different preferences so I have no problem with the sizes.
Armida
The name makes sense because R precedes S in the alphabet, so the XR is the lower version of the XS. I just don't understand the reason behind the design of the camera at the back.

Now isn't that a disappointment for us. I agree with the article's review regarding the SE because, in these days, the physical design of the new iPhones sets the price of the phone and not the functionality of the phone.
