This looks awesome! Kids learn by being engaged, so it sounds like they've combined the best of both worlds. I don't necessarily agree with the panic about "screen time" but it's nice to see someone coming out with tech that combines screens and... See more

Thanks so much for sharing! I'm always paranoid about this. The thought of my phone possibly exploding is often at the back of my head. It's good to read some tips on how to prevent it from ever happening.

Apple used to be the golden boy in the smartphone world, but those days are long gone. I keep waiting for them to step up their game.

I'm no photographer so a camera, is a camera, is a camera as far as I'm concerned.  It looks nice enough and I'm sure it takes great photos.

I've always known Android was open source, but I found it strange that Google had a complete and total stronghold over it. I'd expect open source to be more...well, you know, varied. Google's a tricky company. I don't trust them one bit.
paradox84
I find the look kind of boring, it's just a big box. The functionality sounds great though and that's the important part. I've never heard of the first model either. Thanks for sharing!
paradox84
I think it was important for them to release the device. It's definitely not ready for widespread release, but they got some valuable feedback from the reviewers and data on how well the phone performs while being used in the real world.

That looks like a cool mouse. I have a Razer gaming mouse that I love. It's been going strong for a few years now. Maybe I'll check out Logitech when the time comes to replace it, though I'll probably stick to wired.
paradox84
I love the look of these. It almost seems too good to be true. Perhaps I'm just being pessimistic. I hope these are real! If they are, I'm totally in.
paradox84
$600 is a very reasonable price. Nice design as well. This would be a good choice for someone wanting to buy their first gaming phone.
paradox84
Looks like my laptop manufacturer (Asus) only scored at 69%. Eek. I hope I never have to call into their support line. I get too frustrated with incompetent customer service reps.
paradox84
I hope Huawei can make it through to the other side of this security scandal. I think it's mostly political and nothing to do with the actual devices at all. It's unfortunate.
paradox84
Thanks for sharing. The article brings up some interesting points. I didn't consider the data that would be available and the money that can be saved as a result. Are the privacy and security concerns worth the possible savings? I'm not sure... See more

Ouch. Can't get publicity much worse than that. It must be disheartening to see failing devices after all the hard work that has gone into creating them. Working out the kinks is going to take quite some time.

I can't really put much stock into speculation based on a photo. I'll wait until a real review comes out to gauge how I feel about this product. I'm very eager for it to be released.

I think this is a pretty good list. Soundbars are definitely a must. Voice controlled devices and remotes can't be beat convenience wise. I even agree with the LED light strips. In fact, I just purchased a few myself. I'm excited to try them... See more

Wow! Each reveal seems to be worse than the last one. Next thing you know, we're going to be hearing that Mark Zuckerburg used the passwords as unique codes in a company-wide lottery.

That's pretty neat. Nintendo has always been great at coming out with really fun, innovative products. I think us adults can have some fun with this product when our kids aren't looking.
paradox84
I would spend $70 on a really great gaming mouse. I mean, I've already done so in the past. I didn't regret my purchase. It's treated me well these past few years.
paradox84
It makes sense. Players don't like games with too many microtransactions. The game ceases to be fun and starts to feel like a ripoff.

Would it really be a smart idea to close your credit accounts and start new ones? I wonder how that would affect your credit rating. Regardless, the article does bring up some interesting points. I must say, there's nothing too interesting that... See more

I also have a hard time finding things I actually want to watch on Netflix. I know I'm in the minority here, but I find most Netflix Originals completely boring fluff. I'm considering cancelling my subscription soon.

It may depend on the make and model but I've never had an issue with my laptop overheating. I use it almost exclusively while plugged in. It's a desktop replacement for me.  That being said, it would be nice to have a machine that lasts a long... See more

I think it's ridiculous that the reason behind regional streaming is so a show will retain higher value in the area where it's popular. The viewer has to suffer the inconvenience so the studio can make big bucks.

Hmm, not sure how I feel about this one. Folding smartphones seem cool, but a sliding design doesn't sit well with me. It would be quite difficult to design a case for a sliding phone, would it not?

This is an important article, thanks for sharing. I'm getting tired of all the scams going around. There are so many data breaches these days. I'm going to go and check all my passwords on that site.
paradox84
I'm stunned. This is going to be incredible once it gets going. The article says it's still a prototype and not available yet. I wonder how long we'll have to wait before it gets released. Hopefully it doesn't cost $50,000 for one TV.
paradox84
Wow, I love it! It has a hefty price tag of $5000, so it's safe to say I won't be purchasing one anytime soon, but one can dream.

I don't understand wireless headphones. Personally, I don't want to be stressing out about the battery life of my headphones. Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer to plug them in and listen for as long as I want without them dying.

Electric cars are what I look forward to for automotive technology (as opposed to autonomous cars). If only the price would go down a bit, more people would be on board.
paradox84
Yeah, except, you can get a decent Android phone for a fraction of the cost of an iPhone. Not everyone can afford Apple's highly priced products.

Nice! I actually got some smart lights for Christmas, but I don't think these are the same ones. I have yet to set them all up, but I will be soon. I'm looking forward to telling Google to turn my lights on and off for me.

The first thing any tech support worker tells you to do is clear your cache. The first thing I do when I'm experiencing a computer issue is clear the cache. It doesn't usually solve my problem, to be honest.

Wow, shocking! This article is scary. I think this kind of conduct should be deemed illegal. It's a complete invasion of privacy, and they could be putting people's lives at risk.
